Downeast Graphics & Printing was founded in 1974 by Charles Ferden to provide graphic design and quality printing to businesses, organizations, and individuals along the coast of Maine and beyond.

After 50 years of growing his business and building relationships Charlie has retired, but his legacy of supporting local businesses, organizations and individuals continues. The new local owners of Downeast Graphics & Printing, Domenic Efter and Arlyn Whitelaw, have been supporting the greater Ellsworth community for more than 20 years, and look forward to working with individuals, businesses, towns, non-profits and other organizations to help them achieve their goals.
